The acoustic archive
39 recordings going back to the mid-2000s, most of them posted to his YouTube channel. A guitar, a room, and songs about the things you write songs about at that age.
Songs, recordings and productions
Alex Merced has been writing and recording since the mid-2000s: a guitar and a camera first, then years of electronic production, and lately a set of those early songs rebuilt with an AI model. This is where all three live.

The loop closed
Seven songs from the archive have been rebuilt with Suno in styles they were never written for: disco house, salsa, rock. Each video opens with a clip of the original recording, so you hear where it started before you hear where it went. Six of the seven still have that original sitting in the archive.
Three eras
39 recordings going back to the mid-2000s, most of them posted to his YouTube channel. A guitar, a room, and songs about the things you write songs about at that age.
269 tracks produced in FL Studio, 11 hours 26 minutes of it, filed under electronica, electro pop and glitch hop out of Brooklyn. It is scattered over three profiles and no one of them holds the whole thing, so the full list is assembled here.
The day job is data and AI, so the music comes in bursts: 5 newer songs generated on Suno, tagged indie prog, and the occasional acoustic take when a guitar is within reach.
